This chic, European-style shopping plaza needed to stay top-of-mind with Del Mar locals, as well as attract tourists. By the time we were finished, they doubled website traffic, were recognized as a tourist destination and even hosted magazine shoots on-location.

Headline: Day 13 - So, I promised John that I wouldn't buy anything. I strolled around the plaza for almost two hours (what a view) and just looked in all the beautiful shops and restaurants. Then, I saw it. It was perfect. And it was on sale. John will understand that I couldn't afford not to buy it.

Headline: Day 11 - We ducked into the market. Who could pass up a wine tasting? The produce was amazing and the deli counter... well, Nick does love salami and the occasional stinky cheese. The wine must have gone to my head. Before I knew it, we were admiring the view from the plaza and kissing like kids. It was perfect. Except for Nick's salami breath.

Headline: Day 9 - Deb wants to go into every shop. I tell her that I didn't come here for a shopping excursion. Okay, I didn't say that. I tell her I'll wait here and enjoy the view. Two hours later she comes back with some little guy carrying a stack of boxes. He hands me the boxes. Deb hands him a big tip. I knew I should have gone with her.

Headline: Day 2 - Our "jet setting" golf tourist husbands schedule a day at the links. Judy and I are on our own. We stroll around the plaza. Lovely shops. I buy some cute shoes. We take a table at the café. The view is incredible. I mention how much I love being in Venice. She asks, "When were you there?" I reply, "Isn't the wine delicious?"

Headline: Day 4 - We tossed a coin into the plaza fountain as the sun went down. What a view. I wished this day would never end. Of course, Mike wished that he had more euros. Which is stupid because we weren't in Europe. We were in Del Mar. He thinks he's so funny.
